As the Jets Got beat By the Dolphins on Monday here i have to say regarding this weeks playing against the Browns. First off Sam Darnold is a rookie we all know that he is going to have lots of ups and downs. We are not expected to see Darnold to actually win every game. This means Darnold is going to be having his eyes on Baker Mayfield which was a big turn of events in the last 2 weeks. We all know he is expected to be this force that can't be broken but we know he is just as good as Sam the Man. In addition The browns are looking to bounce back into there ways. Tyrod Taylor is a guy you have to watch this week its a test for Darnold and will make better play selections and left Turnovers. However, this is going to be his first week as an NFL Quarterback be tested and see what he really has and if the Jets get it Right expect to see Jets take this one 21-17 over the browns.
Can the Mets actually get a good bullpen in the offseason. Dave Eliand says that the mets have a chance to win with the pitching we have. Due to Matz shutdown for the rest of the year to give him rest ready for next year why would the mets not sit Noah because to get some more work in. Due to the trade deadline this year the mets initially, kept Jacob deGrom and Noah Syndergaard, which were high interest, but the Mets eventually walked that back. They didn't, however, take Zack Wheeler and Steven Matz off the table. At the end of the day, no trade was ever struck and the rotation stayed how it was. but we do have a chance to see what these guys have next year when they are fresh healthy and ready for baseball.
Mets shortstop Amed Rosario has been on fire at the plate over his last 34 games, flashing star potential as he continues to improve his plate discipline. Since Aug. 1, the 22-year-old Rosario is hitting .301/.340/.448 with three homers, eight doubles, two triples, and nine stolen bases lifting his season line to .256/.298/.386 with seven homers, 24 doubles, and eight triples in 134 games. Only four players in baseball have more triples this season than Rosario. Ketel Marte leads the majors with 10, while Javier Baez, Yolmer Sanchez, and Mallex Smith have nine each. In the 34 games since Aug. 1, Rosario has drawn eight walks after drawing only 18 over the first 100 games of the season and just three in 46 games in 2017, during what was his rookie season. Rosario has all the tools to be a star, but had been held back during his first season-plus in part due to chasing pitches out of the zone at an alarming rate.Along with getting more selective at the plate this season, Rosario has focused on improving his ability to steal bases (he has 18) and has been hitting the ball with more authority. Rosario's hard hit rate is 28.7 percent (up from 24.1 percent in 2017). If Rosario is putting it all together, it would be a huge boon for the Mets as they look to determine who they can count on in 2019 and beyond.Rosario's emergence has coincided with the arrival of Jeff McNeil, who has been hitting in the No. 2 spot lately behind Rosario at leadoff. Since being promoted from Triple-A Las Vegas for his big league debut on July 24, McNeil is hitting .340/.401/.490 with two homers, four triples, eight doubles, and four stolen bases.
Sam Darnold's NFL debut started with a pick-six. The rest of the way was history and sure didn't Look back. As a Jets Rookie QB Darnold threw and impressive 198 yards and two touchdowns on 16-of-21 passing, Darron Lee had two of the Jets' five interceptions (including a pick-six) and Andre Roberts returned a punt for a touchdown as New York scored 31 unanswered points in a 48-17 win over the Detriot Lions 41-17 on Monday at Ford Field. The Ceiling was very high for Darnold which made the Win Impressive on how the Defense sure did do the job in this game. Additions like 21-yard touchdown to Quincy Enunwa that made it 24-17 which was a great catch went into review. Stafford got showed up by the Jets Defense the whole way. Jets Sam Darnold had a few plays which looked off which did have a sack into this game but his deliverance in the pocket zone is fast and quick and can look plays very easy when their is no pressure against him in the pocket. Overall Sam Darnold Performance blew away which makes him the first QB in Jets History to make a blowout Scoring as a Rookie QB in Jets Franchise The first was Joe Namath.
We are unrealistic Fans when we want to get better baseball players. However, we do know that the fact of the matter Jeff and Fred Wilpons will never go after these two top players in the off-season. Sure enough, Make hardly any more to improve or develop a team that has the potential to become a great team. Owners for the last couple of seasons have given us what we wanted but under the pretense of injured after getting signed. Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier, Yonies Cespedes, etc. The Mets show that they have spent but realistic terms that Bryce Harper is going to be asking for tons of money and we know that the Mets are not going to pay him the money his agents are going to ask. In the meanwhile, I am a fan who would love to get players, where we know, could be valuable and could be a great addition to this ball club. However, The Mets will not spend and in my valued opinion sticking with what we have is good enough with Jeff McNeil at 2nd. If we need help go out and get a catcher and bullpen help we can see this team next year if healthy go to the World Series.
Sam Darnold is the real thing. Everyone will see that soon enough, now that the Sam Darnold Era officially dawned on Monday afternoon, when Jets coach Todd Bowles finally ended the non-suspense and named the 21-year-old rookie his starting quarterback. That was always the Jets' plan, as long as Darnold learned the playbook, improved, and showed he could handle NFL pressure. all summer long, he checked every box and passed every test."Sam had a good preseason," Bowles said. "We weren't holding him back. We weren't rushing him at the same time. He still has some things to learn. But his poise in the pocket and the way he grasped the right offense way … he gives us an excellent chance to win."There is a big gap from preseason football to the regular season, of course. When Darnold faces the Detroit Lions next Monday night, their coach, Matt Patricia, won't go easy on him. He'll see more blitzes and pressure than he's faced all summer. He'll see coverage disguised in ways he hasn't even imagined. No defense has game-planned specifically for him yet. But all that is about to change.
I can say that most of the fans agree, The Mets will Never give Bryce Harper the Money or a chance to even be on this team. Granted I will say that when I've written three blogs related to having him being a Met, I did understand the Mets Fans point of View. Why even think about him coming here when we all know that the Owners would never pay him. Plus he has a big ego and can be a headache which would shed headlines with the media. Even though we all want to see better baseball, However its unlikely to also see Many Machado which is a much better player and could Possible even come on board. My far fetch ideas did give fans to why i believe in the moves. Like getting Older players not in there prime or also getting players who wouldn't be a fit. Though I Would like to say that My Stories were stretching. As a diehard Mets Fan want to see, them Improve as a better team. We all know that We have the Best Pitching rotation in baseball. Mets need to Get younger. Jeff McNeil was a high pick up from the minors to the majors Amed Rosario is starting to become a Professional Baseball player. The Bullpen needs to get younger and more Experienced. Jerys Femilia Mets need to resign him in the off-season and give the Closing to him. David Wright looking to come back which all fans love to see, but he is done. Cespedes is a lost cause and should never see him in a Mets Uniform he got his Money. As for Dominic Smith Bring him back up Now. The Best Player in the Minors right now is Peter Alosno he is tearing off the baseball with 35 Home runs in the minors and should be called up, but the Mets are all about the dollar. We get it! we want a better baseball team but this year is over look forward to next season and see if Mickey Callaway can get the Job Done in 2019.
The one thing that gets to fans is that why is Jay Bruce even playing first base. His natural Position is Left Field, and the Mets don't also want to the knowledge that Dominic Smith and Alonso are both Natural First Basemen's. Peter Alonso has 35 home runs, and you can say he is the much better player then Dominic Smith. However, The facts are Mets don't want to call him up because they have to pay Alonso. Dominic Smith we can say is not a great fielder and sure can be a bonehead when making dumb plays and costly errors, they have to play him and see what he can do. Dominic Smith can give you 25 home-runs. Playing him in the Minors is not going to make him better, Even-though He should be playing every day instead of benching him or bringing him back and forth up. What do you think should Dominic Smith be called up in September and stay the for the rest of the season. Should the Mets Give Peter Alonso a chance to the big show?.
Syndergaard Strikes Out 11 and Micheal Conforto Lead 2 run home in the Second inning with a little help with McNeil to Win 4-1 in AT& T Park Beating The Giants. Syndergaard (10-3) didn't allow a hit after the fourth inning, retiring 17 of the last 18 batters he faced in his first complete game in his whole career. Michael Conforto went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run off Chris Stratton in the second inning that gave the Mets a 2-0 lead. Jeff McNeil gave Syndergaard more breathing room by hitting a two-run single off Sam Dyson in the eighth inning for the Mets to Win 4-1 which gave the Win to Noah Syndergaard.
Lets Have some fun on this post. I know i have said in the past Bryce Harper and Also Mets should get Manny Machado but i figured We can have some fun in talking about the possible Moves we could land or moves the fans would like to have here is my list of people the mets should do
1) Land Manny Machado
2) Mets Sign Bryce Harper to 6 Year Deal $25.6 Million makes $150 Millon
3) Mets Trade Noah Syndergaard for Nelson Cruz, or Lance Lynn or Craig Kimbrel or Johnthan Lucroy
4) Mets should also need a Closer bringing back Jeurys Familia
5) If the Mets would be Smart i would look at is getting George Kontos which would bring the Mets a good in game depth with his strong arm and fast delivery to get guys out would make a great addition to the mets Bullpen
Tells us what you think in the comments below who do you want on the Mets in 2019 ?
I will say that this is my first post in little of about 2 years i had to rate a WWE Show and by far i want to say that WWE is Garbage. Why does WWE Need to make superstars get over when they are over already. Trish Stratus Return is really cool the fact that Alexa Bliss is a huge Fan of her, wanted to have a dream match to fight her when it counted in a live WWE Program. The Over For Elias was not needed and the creative needed to smack him to get him a championship sounds stupid. Since Triple H and Stephanie have running Day to Day where you see Less of Vice in the Production Truck and back Stage has been coming Less. His Health is still Very well and Time for Retirement is sure needed. Having the Kids Run WWE is better off Then Triple H. He has no idea of Talent and the Garbage on the Mic is the worst that has been seen in a long time.
T/alking about The Return of Dean Ambrose why does he look like Triple H. He looks good where you seen him build up but with the haircut and the jacked arms looking like a triple H Clone. The lack of Script Handling is really taking away the talent in the ring and using lots of Time on the Mic.
Another Disappointment Comes from Ronda Rousey their is no reason at all she needs the title she can make the WWE universe on her side without the title is taking away from the talent who wrestle everyday you don't need a part timer Brock Lesnar and Hive the title to somebody that actually deserves it. I've seen the rating for The WWE Network Last week it was down at 65% where the fans are not buying the Network because when you get the Network the Events go free if your a First timer. I've made a project to sign up for the network in three different accounts and to notice that you always get a free month anyways it doesn't pay you can cancel anytime. By far WWE hasn't been good since CM Punk Left the WWE and The people who have come in More Injury's and Death's Since are at a all time high. This company bar far when Vice retires or Dies Will no longer been around an you have Triple H to Thank for It.
As the Season Starts to get Ready for Some Sam Darnold and The New York Jets. The Jets cutting Players and Sending them packing. The Jets Are now 53 of 89 players they already had Due to Cut day. As we get to close training camp and saw many players shine to the accession like Your NY Jets QB's Sam Darnold. Sam The Man is going to have lots of eyes on him this season, Sam Darnold needs to impress coach Todd Bowles to keep him in the starting role. In addition to players Teddy Bridgewater released traded. Huh what! Teddy Bridgewater Just got traded the other day to falcons in exchange for Player to be named Later. What are the expectations for the Jets to be successful this season?. Expect to see Sam Darnold to come out swinging, His Play making we seen so far is pretty impressive his strong arm and fast pocket release seems to show some impressive moves. Expect to see more defense tighten up on the line of scrimmage; Less Sacks and Less Penalties. As the Jets got a new Kicker and Punter which has been a step up is impressive as well. Look to see Jamal Adams to be a better play maker which last season had 82 tackles and 2.0 sacks expect to see him up into the faces of these QB's. Also if you are in fantasy Football expect +29 out of Adams. Another player to watch for is Leonard Williams As he is a veteran into this league and his leadership on the field expect to see him player better this year which he is healthy His red Zone defense is not only impressive but great. Which The Jets Did extend his contract to a five year which he loving New York Is here to stay. That's now a wrap-up of your New York Jets.
Staten island, New York- Wheeler is Now 9-7 but you can say he's tough-luck loss after allowed one run on just four hits while striking out nine and walking none. Wheeler threw his best stuff of the night by 97 pitches on the night, 65 of which were strikes which shows what he can do and improving with his slider. Wheeler's only run allowed came on a sacrifice fly by outfielder Chris Shaw. good for the first RBI of his Major League career.
Staten Island, NY- Todd Frazier hit a first-inning grand slam and drove in a season-high five runs and Jason Vargas was effective for a fourth straight outing as the Mets avoided a three-game sweep with an 10-3 win over the Cubs on Wednesday afternoon at Wrigley Field. TodFather is nothing but impressive and the Mets Should really considered in playing him everyday. While having a great pitching match-up The big difference in seeing Vargas being successful is the breaking ball. His breaking ball is sharper and conspired to set the effectiveness with the batters. Coming backing the swing of things, The Mets Manger Mickey Callaway is confidant in Jason Vargas and willing to Play with just tempting later in the game to win 2 out of 3 in Chicago.

Thank god Brandon Nimmo really didn't hurt himself too badly. Brandon brusied his finger but he going to be ok. It was like a breath of Fresh Air to finally see him on Wesnday playing if he is going to play. This is good news for Mets Fan to see him back and hopefully fresh and ready to go. Before he got injured he has been one of the Mets Players to really show what he can do .265 batting line with 15 home runs and 39 RBIs in 109 games prior to going on the DL This is impressive to really see him into a star for Mets.
Here are a few Notes i would like to Give a Recap of Last night's Game
The Mets have lost eight straight games to the Cubs and 13 of 14 regular season contests at Wrigley Field. Chicago swept New York at Citi Field from May 31-June 3. The Mets are 9-21 (.300) against the Cubs since 2014.
Jay Bruce has hit safely in all four games since he returned from the disabled list after his pinch-hit single in the ninth.
Jeff McNeil flied out as a pinch-hitter in the seventh to end his hitting streak at 11 games.
Rosario is hitting .304 (24-for-79) with six extra-base hits, 14 RBIs and 15 runs scored in his last 18 games.
Blevins surrendered his first runs since July 15, a span of 10 2/3 innings.
Syndergaard has surrendered two runs or fewer in 10 of his 19 starts but once in his last six. The 25-year-old made his Major League debut at Wrigley Field on May 12, 2015.
This is what the Giants and Odell Beckham Jr. always wanted. The Giants never wanted to trade him. Beckham never wanted to leave. They both wanted a long-term marriage, and they both understood how high the price would have to be.So now Beckham is getting a five-year, $95 million contract extension with a whopping $65 million guaranteed.
Because this isn't about past performance, Beckham earned this money by being arguably the best receiver in the NFL over the first four years of his career. If the Giants didn't think he could be the same for the next four or five years, they would've easily gone in another direction.
But at 25 years old, there is a feeling that the best may still be to come for Beckham, even after he missed most of last season with an ankle injury. He has looked healthy, explosive and as fast as ever. The Giants see no reason why he can't be a 90-100-catch, 1,300-yard, 10-touchdown receiver again.
Of course, now he has to be. That's the price of getting paid more than any other NFL receiver. A simple 70-catch, 1,000-yard season won't do. The pressure is on Beckham to be great, at least for the next few seasons. And it's a reasonable expectation as he enters his prime.
But the pressure isn't just on him. A good case can be made that the Giants wasted the first four seasons of Beckham's career because of a lackluster surrounding cast. They had a terrible offensive line, which left their quarterback under siege, they had no real ability to run the football, and the rest of the receiving corps was weak. The result, as everyone could see, was that the Giants' offense was often a one-man show.
They can't let that happen again because they have invested too much in his success. They've already made a big bet on Eli Manning, that he's still good enough to lead them to a championship sometime in the next two years. But he won't be able to do that if the rest of the offense is so poor that Beckham is constantly being double- or triple-covered. They need to make sure the other options are good.
Now, the good news is they seem to be headed in that direction. The addition of Saquon Barkleyshould be a big help. And tight end Evan Engram and receiver Sterling Shepard seem like terrific alternative options in the passing attack. If they can solidify the offensive line, maybe they do have enough talent around Beckham to really turn him loose and let him ignite a championship run.
But they have to. Beyond the money, they have to do right by Beckham and he has to do right by them, and together they have to make sure that during his Giants career -- which now runs through the 2023 season -they are not stuck in the morass of mediocrity. The Giants are paying for greatness and greatness should be expected.
Mets 3B David Wright went 1-for-4 with a single and played the entire game at third base on Friday in his latest rehab game with St. Lucie. Wright, who hit third in the lineup, knocked a base hit up the middle in the eighth inning. Which Makes David 35 But is the New Trend 35 The comeback the Mets Need you never know he says he look good and feels good. David Wright Wants to get back on the field again. Shall we see David Wright this September I believe he should just keep getting his work and hopefully The Mets Bring David Wright a Championship Ring For him.
Staten Island, NY- The Most Important to Having the audition for the Jets is to see what they go for the QB Spot. As Full Half against the first defense team was as simple is putting in Sam Darnold to see what he got. Todd Bowles think and believes that he is so good that he will probably start him in the season opener. Darnold only completed 8 of 16 passes for 86 yards in the Jets' 22-16 loss to the Giants on Friday night. But beyond the numbers the kid continued to look like he's ready. He led two touchdown drives against the Giants' first-team defense, despite a leaky offensive line, generally poor field position and a patchwork receiving corps. Yes, his numbers probably should have been better. However He has Been most impressive so far in his last Three Starts in the Pre-season, Several times he escaped a pocket that was collapsing and managed to get in position to throw the ball away. Once, on a 3rd and 13, he moved up through the pocket and took off for a 15-yard run. He Has speed and he is willing to use his legs for power. Maybe Teddy Bridgewater is the best quarterback in camp. Maybe Josh McCown would be a steadying influence for a still-young team. And maybe there will be some struggles early as Darnold adjusts to life as an NFL starter. But it's been clear so far that he can handle that. No, he wasn't great on Friday night. But nothing he did gave any indication that he's not up for the job.
