Mets RHP Jacob deGrom pitched the third inning and allowed a home run in the MLB All-Star game on Tuesday night at Nationals Park.
DeGrom entered in relief of NL starter Max Scherzer and retired the first two batters to face him before Mike Trout homered to left field. DeGrom struck out J.D. Martinez for the third out.
Playing in his second MLB All-Star game, deGrom threw 15 pitches, 10 of which were strikes. He was replaced in the fourth inning by Braves RHP Mike Foltynewicz.
